There were 1,066 memorial bouquets placed across Australian roads last year.
Such a high fatality number is hard to picture when it's spread across the country.
We figured that the M4 motorway, one of Australia's most well-travelled and accident-prone roads, would be the perfect place to gather all 1,066 bouquets as one big ugly reminder.
Each bouquet of flowers is wrapped in the stories of a life that was taken by dangerous driving, as told by their grieving family members.
With just a simple visual, we can alert the whole country to take notice of dangerous drivers, and generate tons of earned media impressions that help keep the highways safer.
Flowers are pretty, but let's keep them off the road.
